Couple of my friends recorded a video for their new/old single: Vzpon in Padec. They RAP about success and downfall and the whole story will consist of one more video (I think). Anyway, It's cool, I like it, here it is. (It's in Slovene).

Lately I've been
.. playing arround with my blog design. I think this one will stick for a while now.
- fasting. This month (Ramadan) is the Islamic month of fasting. We don't eat nor do we drink anything from true dawn till sunset. It's nice or should I say it was nice, because it's coming to an end in a couple of days. It teaches you patience and sacrifice and It gives your day a totally different meaning.
- making websites
- fixing people's LAN's
- watching "The Deadliest Catch" on Discovery
and some other stuff...

cPanel

I've had some issues with cPanel and had to contact their customer support service. They are very fast and professional. Well, at one occasion one of their representatives stepped on my nerves but then I his superior contacted me and we worked things out. That's what I like in some U.S. companies, professionalism. I'm sticking with cPanel because I know I can rely on them when the time comes.

New [old] server

I've found an old computer that was catching dust in a corner of my room so I decided to make something useful out of it. It's an old 800 MHz Athlon with something over 300 RAM and 20GB hard drive. I'll install pfSense and make a nice router out of it. I have a couple of external hard drives that I don't use, so I'll probably hook them up to backup stuff too.
pfSense is an open source firewall based on m0n0wall/FreeBSD. It has a nice web interface and it's quite easy to configure.
Here are some screenshots of pfSense: http://www.pfsense.org/screenshots/

Igraj.me

Today I've started working on a new project. When .me domains went public I bought igraj.me (translation: play.me). It's been some time since then so I decided to put it to good use. I'm going to make a flash game portal but with a different approach and touch. I've scrambled up a logo in about 5 minutes but that's probably not the final version. Now I have to get working on the code and planning. I'll probably spend a couple of hours writing stuff down in my notebook (paper one) before I even touch the computer.
MSN messenger, Google Talk, Skype
I've been trying to talk to my sister online (she is in Norway) for couple of days now, so I've made some tests of the current popular communication software.
1. MSN Messenger couldn't even make an audio connection, it has probably something to do with msn's ports and routers on the other end. I gave up there.
2. Then we tried Gtalk. It connected immediately and we talked for a few days. Everything wen't O.K. Since I don't live with my parents anymore, we don't share the same computer but we all wanted to talk to each other at the same time. That means that we had to have a conference call. I remembered that Skype has that option so we all installed it.
3. Skype has had the best performance overall. The sound quality was much better than that of Gtalk and Windows Live Messenger. There were some glitches in sound every now and then but that was probably my sisters internet connection from the campus. Now we must try the video conference.
p.s.: Oh yeah, If you haven't noticed, my blog header now changes everytime the page get's refreshed ;)

Where to live

It seems that Zürich is the best place to live, again, according to BusinessWeek.com.
And another thing, a girl that works at CERN (lhc lhc lhc lhc), has made a rap video about, guess what? LHC, yeah, the Large Hadron Collider. September 10th is comming and if we are to die, listening to some RAP won't do us harm.
