It seems that Zürich is the best place to live, again, according to BusinessWeek.com.

And another thing, a girl that works at CERN (lhc lhc lhc lhc), has made a rap video about, guess what? LHC, yeah, the Large Hadron Collider. September 10th is comming and if we are to die, listening to some RAP won't do us harm.

Halite

Is your .torrent client a memory hog? Well even if it isn't, there is still room for improvement and that's why someone came up with Halite. A torrent client who's name came from a mineral (google it).
It's still in it's development stages but it looks promising. It's so darn light that it puts even microtorrent to shame (www.utorrent.com). I'm giving it a try.

foobar2000

foobar2000 is a media player, something like winamp but much faster and light on the system resources. I've been using it since it's launch. The reason why I switched to foobar is mainly winamp's bloated feel [and look]. It has quite a few functions but the only important thing is the fact that it plays music. People think that music sounds better in winamp, well frankly, it doesn't.
Don't get me wrong, winamp is a great player, I use it from time to time but If you have an older computer(and windows) foobar2000 is a great choice.

Ramadan brings back memories

Bosnian ćevapi from the Baščaršija district of Sarajevo and Banja Luka are probably the most famous ćevapi. Travnik and Tuzla are known for their ćevapi made of beef stewed with spices. This dish is very popular in some parts of former Yugoslavia as well. The stew is poured on lepinja or somun flatbread and few chunks of meat left there. Banja Luka is known for ćevapi which are multiple rolls (usually four) joined together. Bosnian ćevapi are made from two types of minced beef meat, hand mixed and formed with a funnel. Formed ćevapi are grilled.

Money

So the other day I decided that It's time to start collecting some debts that people owed me. Most of them answered their phones but one guy didn't, even though I saw him that day in town. So me and my friends decided to pay him a visit (even though I don't do that kind of things). People tend to soften up when they see baseball bats. No one got hurt but the point of the story is that people will fuck with you until you decide to take things into your own hands.

New car - much fun

My girlfriend and I have bought a new car (well she has). We went to pick it up to Germany - far far to the north. We took a train and traveled for 14 hours, visited many cities and had much fun. Then we drove all the way back to Slovenia with it, it was about 1200 km or 745 miles. We drank coffee at Starbucks, ate at Burgerking and met some new friends on the train. I actually got a customer for a website on the train from Münich to Düsseldorf. Anyway, here is a photo of the car, it's not the actual one but we didn't get to downloading photos from the camera, but this car is identical to the one we have. And I forgot to mention how much fun it is to drive through the town with it, it just slices through corners.

So long Bernie Mac

Bernie Mac was a great actor and I will always remember him. He died on august 9, 2008 (three days ago).

Mac was born in Chicago, Illinois, and was raised by a single mother, Mary. She died of cancer when he was 16 years old.[2] Mac attended Chicago Vocational Career Academy and started his comedy career during high school. He put on shows for neighborhood kids on Chicago's South Side, until moving to Tampa, Florida. During his 20s he worked in a variety of jobs, including furniture mover, UPS agent and bread delivery sales rep.[3]

Mac suffered from sarcoidosis, an inflammatory lung disease that produces tiny lumps of cells in the body's organs, but had said the condition went into remission in 2005.[1]

On August 1, 2008, Mac was hospitalized with what his publicist claimed was pneumonia. The next day, responding to rumors that the actor was in "very, very critical condition," his publicist said that he was responding well to treatment, and should be released soon.[7] On August 9, his publicist announced that Mac had died from complications of pneumonia unrelated to sarcoidosis.[1]

The 2008 Bud Billiken Parade in Chicago, on the day he died, was dedicated to his memory.[8]

At the time of his death, Bernie Mac was working on the movie Soul Men with Isaac Hayes who, coincidentally, died the day after him.
